However, during the peak tourism season, our numbers swell significantly as people from all over the world come to experience the magic of this place. At the time of the last census, it had nearly 60,000 residents. When I think about Kissimmee, I can’t help but mention its population. What makes it even more special is that it’s equidistant from the beautiful Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico coasts. It’s an incredible place, known for its proximity to some of the largest and most popular attractions in the state. Located in central Florida’s Osceola County, Kissimmee has been my staple vacation spot for as long as I can remember.
